Rise and shine Marketing Girlies. Its Officially Fall!

Brands are ready to make their move. It's time for football, pumpkin spice, and cozy fall trends. Recent campaigns and brands are now using storytelling, cultural moments and trends, nostalgia to create seasonal campaigns to feel like something consumers want to be a part of and not just an ad.

These creative marketing ideas for fall are driving engagement and launching up the spooky season perfectly. From Abercrombie's NFL partnership to Dunkin's Spice Girls reunion, here are four fall campaigns that are getting attention in 2026.

Here are some Marketing Ideas for Fall

Why Fall is a Big Season for Businesses:

Fall is one of the busiest times of the year for brands. For most brands, fall is a chance to refresh but line up their brand for the perfect opportunity for their Black Friday campaign or even connect with new customers. A local business could organize community events, while an online brand could use social media, email, and online promotions.

The best fall marketing ideas do not always need a huge budget. A creative idea, a strong social media post, or a fun customer experience can be a wonderful way to boost engagement and get people talking.

4 Creative Fun Fall Marketing Campaigns To Watch

Brands are trying new things this fall to stand out. They are using new technology, fun ideas, and ways to bring people together. Fall is a BIG season for brands. People are shopping for new clothes, planning Halloween parties, getting ready for the holidays, and spending more time online looking for spooky seasonal promotions. Here are some popular fall marketing ideas that have been on my radar:

Abercrombie NFL Campaign x Jaxon Smith-Ngjiba

One fall themed campaign that has always stood out to me was Abercrombie and their NFL collection. Their physical in store tailors to their local fans by carrying their home team merchandise. Abercrombie is bringing football season into its fall marketing with an NFL campaign featuring Jaxon Smith-Njigba.

The campaign combines the brand's fashion style with the excitement around football season. This is a smart way for Abercrombie to reach sports fans while still staying true to its brand.

The campaign also shows how brands can use popular cultural moments to reach new audiences. Instead of creating a campaign that only feels like an ad, Abercrombie is connecting its products to something people are already talking about.

Marketing takeaway: Think about what your audience is already excited about and find a way for the brand to join the conversation.

Travis Kelce's Fall Campaign with Tommy Hilifiger Fall 2026

Football is not the only trend taking over fall marketing. Tommy Hilfiger is also bringing football and fashion together with Travis Kelce.

Celebrity partnerships can be a great way for brands to attract attention, especially when the person already has a strong connection with the target audience.

The campaign also fits into a bigger fall trend: using familiar faces and popular culture to make marketing feel more personal. When a partnership feels natural, it can give customers another reason to stop scrolling and pay attention.

Marketing takeaway: A good partnership should make sense for both the brand and the person representing it.

A24 and Dior Collaboration

Dior and A24 are taking a different approach to their fall marketing promotion ideas. The brands recently announced a two year partnership centered around New York's historic Cherry Lane Theatre. The partnership brings together fashion, film, theater, and live experiences.

The partnership is especially interesting because it does not focus only on putting a product in front of customers. Instead, it connects Dior with art and entertainment. The launch included a social media campaign featuring Dior creative director Jonathan Anderson and cultural figures such as Sabrina Carpenter and Josh O'Connor.

This is a great example of how brands can use creative ways to reach an audience. Instead of asking customers to simply shop, brands can create experiences that give people something to watch, share, or talk about.

For marketers, the takeaway is simple: unexpected partnerships can grab attention. A fashion brand does not always need to work with another fashion brand. Sometimes, working with entertainment, art, or a local business can create something much more interesting.

Dunkin' Pumpkin Spice with the Spice Girls

Pumpkin Spice Latte

Pumpkin spice is basically part of the fall marketing playbook at this point. But Dunkin' found a way to make its 2026 campaign feel new by bringing back two original Spice Girls members and introducing Pumpkin Spice as their fictional sixth bandmate.

The campaign features Emma Bunton, Geri Halliwell-Horner, and comedian Rachel Dratch as Pumpkin Spice. The campaign launched alongside Dunkin's fall menu, which includes its Pumpkin Spice Signature Latte and other seasonal drinks.

The campaign works because it combines two familiar ideas: pumpkin spice and nostalgia. The Spice Girls connection gives customers something unexpected while still keeping the product at the center of the campaign.

This is also a strong example of how social media can help a seasonal campaign spread. Funny videos, celebrity partnerships, fall hashtags, and shareable social posts can help brands reach new customers while keeping loyal customers excited about a product they already know.

A fall giveaway or interactive content could take this idea even further for a smaller brand. The goal is to give customers a reason to participate with special deals instead of simply asking them to buy something.

Easy Fall Marketing Ideas:

Not every business has the budget to make a celebrity campaign. But, there are plenty of fall promotion ideas that smaller brands can try.

A small business could host community events with local influencers and create a fun dinner theme with a costume contest, hand out treat bags, or partner with another local business. These ideas can bring out new customers into the business while also giving existing customers a reason to come back.

Online promotions can also help drive sales. Businesses can offer exclusive discounts, special deals, or seasonal products that encourage their customers to shop online. A fall giveaway can also help with brands increasing engagement and grow their social media followers.

Interactive Content People Want to See in Fall

This fall season, marketing does not always have to focus on selling. Brands can also create useful content that their audience wants to save and share.

For example a food brand could create tutorials, a beauty brand could share fall makeup tutorials. A fashion creator could create outfit ideas, while a home brand could share seasonal decorating tricks or cooking tips.

These ideas could be a blog post, social posts, email content, or videos. Interactive content such as polls, questions, and quizzes can help boost engagement.

Remember the most important thing is to make your campaign or video useful for your followers. When customers get something valuable from a brand's content, they have more of a reason to follow the brand and come back later.

Bye Summer... Hello Autumn

The biggest lesson from these 2026 fall season promotions does not have to be predictable. Brands can use football, fashion, entertainment, nostalgia, and other fall trends to create marketing ideas for fall. It's not just about an increase in sales.

The best marketing ideas for cooler temperatures give customers a reason to stop scrolling, visit a store, shop online, or share something with a friend. Whether it is a major celebrity campaign or a small community event, creative ideas can help brands connect with their audience.

Fall is a perfect opportunity to try something new. With the right seasonal campaign, businesses can attract new customers, keep loyal customers engaged, and head into the holiday season with strong marketing momentum.
